Our home is the one place we find refuge in, the place we surround ourselves with those we love, and the one place we find the most comfort in. We spend a lot of time in our homes, but there are a few areas where we spend more time than others, so I try and make those spaces extra special. 

Here are a few easy tips you can use to fall in love with your home today.

Do you have a love/hate relationship with your laundry room?

We all may love to dream about a newly remodeled room, but reality is we need to love the space we have.  A few small changes can brighten and organize your laundry space in just a few minutes. Find a pretty jar to hold your laundry soap and dress up your dryer with a pretty lacy doily.

Make a station for your dish washing supplies so everything is at your fingertips. 

I have a small wire basket that holds my dish soap, sponge, hand soap, and brushes. Since we don’t own a dishwasher I spend a lot of time at the sink, so I like to make what I see out my window and what is on my window sill pleasing to the eye.

Do you remember the feel of your grandmother’s kitchen? 

That homey, welcoming feeling is the one I want my family and friends to have when they walk in my kitchen. Little things like adding a table cloth and a few pretty things, is enough to make any cup of coffee a special event.
